The Black Lives Matter movement has gained traction in the East Bay as dozens of young organizers continue to hold demonstrations in honor of the life of George Floyd, a black man who was killed by police in Minneapolis on May 25, 2020.
Many demonstrations in the East Bay are being planned and attended by youth.
