About The Advocate

The Advocate is a student-led news organization published at Contra Costa College in San Pablo, California.

In 2022, The Advocate was recognized as the most-awarded two-year media outlet in the history of the Associated Collegiate Press.

Advocate reporters and photographers cover the campus, which straddles the border of San Pablo and Richmond in the East Bay Area. The students cover topics ranging from college district governance and campus policies to student profiles, sports and local entertainment.
