An op-ed can be about any topic. We encourage submitters to write op-eds that are timely and relevant to the Contra Costa College community.

Each submission should be no more than 800 words. We reserve the right to edit each piece for length and clarity. We also reserve the right to edit for fact checking purposes.

The Advocate does not guarantee any submission will be published, and all final decisions are made by the editors.
